Steak Revolution is a website dedicated to cooking steak at home.

I’m Adam Wojtow, an entrepreneur with a passion for finance and steaks.

I created the Steak Revolution in 2020 to share my passion and lessons learned when cooking the steak from home. I was born in Poland, where steak eating isn’t as big as in the US or many Western European countries. I’m from a small town, Jelenia Góra. Around here, finding a good steakhouse is tough. And the ones that exist? They usually just serve the common cuts like ribeye, porterhouse/t-bone, filet, or strip. And they’re not cheap. So, I thought, why not try cooking steaks at home? It could save me some money and give me the chance to play around with different cuts and ways to cook them

Starting out, I won’t lie, was a bit of a mess. There’s a lot of confusing advice online about how to cook a steak right, from the steak finger tests, to how long to cook it, when to let it rest, and so on. There were times when my steak was too raw or, worse, overcooked. But as time went on, I got better. I saw how big the steak world really is and just how much bad advice is out there. So, drawing from my background in SEO and as a product owner, I thought, why not start a website to share my steak adventures and what I’ve learned? And that’s how Steak Revolution started in 2020.

I am here to guide you through every step of the process. My site is a one-stop shop for all your steak questions. I provide in-depth guides for different cuts of beef and give you the recipes and tips you need to cook the best steak of your life. I also provide test-style guides, polls, reviews of steak companies, useful tools, and steakhouse recommendations.

My Personal Story with Celiac Disease

Sharing my struggle with celiac disease is something I believe can help others.

It took a long time to figure out what was wrong with my health. I felt worse each year. 2023 was a beast of a year for me; the symptoms knocked me out for over half the year. That’s when doctors finally told me the reason: celiac disease. After finding out about the celiac, getting back to normal wasn’t a walk in the park. I went all-in on a gluten-free diet but didn’t see much change for months. The weird part? It turned out that the gluten-free oats I had for breakfast every day were the problem. They hit my immune system just like the regular gluten stuff. When I dropped the oats, wow, what a change! The difference was night and day. I felt so much better in just days.

Now, why am I sharing this? Well, for two main reasons:

  • Reason 1: Not every doctor or nutritionist out there will tell you that some of us with celiac can’t stomach even gluten-free oats. Trust me, I learned that the hard way. If you feel like those oats might be messing with you, too, have a word with your doctor. For me, getting rid of those oats? Game changer.
  • Reason 2: I want you to know that every recipe you see on Steak Revolution is totally gluten-free. I know that it is super important, especially for the steak sides.

Because of celiac, I don’t eat out much anymore. Too many gluten traps out there. But the cool part? It got me really into cooking steaks. I used to enjoy these dishes at restaurants, but now I whip them up myself and share my experiences on Steak Revolution.
